    WETLAND DELINEATION :

TAVARES LAND DESIGN prides itself in the ability to recognize and delineate (flag) all the resource areas of wetlands. This is a necessary function to perform so that plans may be drawn accurately and improvements placed in the best suitable location for positive environmental permitting purposes. Otherwise, Conservation Commissions may not allow the project to be built.  
These resource areas include:  

  • Bordering Vegetated Wetland (B.V.W.)
  • Buffer Zones
  • Top Coastal Bank (T.O.C.B.)
  • Flood Plain Elevations
  • Coastal Beaches Border
  • Coastal Dunes Border
  • Salt Marshes Border

These delineated lines or borders set distance thresholds with respectively different performance standards in your ability to achieve your project goals.
